New Sevegep was established in 1972 as a cooperative company on the edge of Cyprus’s largest citrus-growing area, the Morphou plain. Its purpose was to process and export local fruits and vegetables. Almost 50 years later, the small cooperative of the 1970s has many reasons to be proud. To this day, farmers from all over Cyprus rely on New Sevegep to absorb their yearly harvests and convert them into marketable final products.
